In their own voice
People describe their convictions, doubts and lived experience for themselves.
Voices of Conscience will be a home for thoughtful profiles and conversations with people across religious, secular, questioning and philosophical worldviews. Each feature will begin with the person rather than the label: how they arrived at their convictions, how those convictions shape daily life and what others commonly misunderstand about them.
The purpose is not to rank beliefs, stage debates or ask anyone to represent an entire community. It is to understand how worldviews are actually lived and to let each participant speak with dignity in their own words. In Singapore’s religiously and culturally diverse society, these personal accounts may help readers encounter perspectives they rarely hear outside argument or stereotype.
Features will be published with informed consent. Participants may be identified, partially identified or anonymous according to what they are comfortable sharing. The first conversation is currently being prepared.
Every feature begins with respect for the person, their complexity and their right to define their own worldview.

No one person is reduced to a category or asked to represent everyone who shares it.
The goal is to encounter another life honestly—not to persuade, defeat or recruit.
